Star Lab Experience

Yesterday we went to Star Lab in the hall. We had to walk through a dark tunnel to get into the dome. We could see the night sky on the roof and we learnt a lot of new things about space!

It would be great if parents could take children outside one night and talk about these new things that we learnt about. See if you can find the Southern Cross, the scorpion constellation or the planet Venus.

I learnt that…

-         A red star is a part of a scorpion constellation – Fletcher
-         Planets don’t sparkle - Azra
-         The red star is the scorpion’s heart – Louis

I found it interesting that…

-         There was a red star in the sky – Tumana
-         Pluto is a ball of ice – Shivkrant

I will tell my parents…
