Homework is starting this week.

Everyday your child will bring home a notebook in their book bag. This will have their reading log in the front and their spelling words in the back.

Each day your child will have two reading books. On Tuesday one of these books will a library book. On Friday they will have their poems book. On the days that your child has guided reading with me, they will have that book. On the days that they don’t have reading with me, they will have a book from their choosing box. These are free choice books so your child might choose the same one multiple times or a book that is a lower level. This is so they can enjoy their reading and increase their reading mileage.

Spelling words are in the back of the homework book. Please practice these at least 3 times a week.

Our library day is now TUESDAY.

No swimming for the next two weeks due to Ara Pakeke SkillsforLife programme. This will recommence March 5^th.
